Frimpong Manso confident of turning around Nations FC’s form

Newly appointed Nations FC head coach, Stephen Frimpong Manso, says he is confident of improving the team’s performance as he begins his tenure with the Ghana Premier League side.

Manso, who guided Bibiani GoldStars to last season’s Ghana Premier League title, was appointed on a two-year deal following the dismissal of Kassim Mingle, with Nations enduring a difficult start to the campaign. The club has managed only two wins in seven matches so far.

In his first interview with the club’s media, the experienced tactician stressed that he and his technical team are determined to make an impact and address the team’s major weaknesses.

"We’ve seen a lot of things here and we believe we can work to improve the team," Frimpong Manso said. "We’ve come to do our part to make sure that where the team has reached, we will also try to make a mark here at Nations. In away matches, we’ve played three games without a goal, so that’s one of the concerns we need to fix."

Manso’s first test comes on Friday, October 31, when Nations FC travel to face Bechem United.
