FA Cup Round of 16: Dreams FC target victory over Inter Allies after Vision FC draw
· GhanaSoccernetDreams FC will be looking at overcoming Inter Allies in the MTN FA Cup next weekend after a painful draw against Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League.
This is according to head coach Winfred Dormon.
The gaffer was left disappointed last weekend when he watched the team squander a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Vision FC in their Ghana Premier League Week 21 fixture.
Speaking in his post-match interview, the coach rallied his players to move on from the draw and focus on correcting their mistakes to ensure a victory against Inter Allies in their MTN FA Cup Round of 16 tie.
“Yes, we picked a point, but if I look back, I’m very disappointed that, against the balance of play, we didn’t win this game. But this is the Ghana Premier League. The games are highly competitive, and therefore, let’s move on to the next game. There are a lot of positives to take from this game,” Dormon said.
The MTN FA Cup Round of 16 clash between Dreams FC and Inter Allies will be played on Sunday, February 8, with kick-off scheduled for 3 pm at Tuba AstroTurf.
