Coventry City forward Brandon Thomas-Asante bent on winning trophies with Black Stars

The 25-year-old forward made his debut for the West African football heavyweights in October 2024 and has his racked up seven appearances, scoring just a goal in the process.
Despite his impressive run for Coventry City, the enterprising attacker has yet to command a regular spot in the Black Stars. For Thomas-Asante, he is looking to leverage his experience and skills to help the Black Stars achieve success.
“For me, I want to be successful with the Black Stars. I don’t just want to be a squad player; I want to contribute goals, assists, and help this nation win trophies. We know the expectations are high, and we’re ready to meet them," he told PFA.
The former West Bromwich Albion star has been in a blistering form for Coventry City this season, racking up 10 goals and providing three assists in 17 appearances for the club this season.
Thomas-Asante will be hoping to make the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup tournament to be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The 25-year-old is currently injured and has set sights on a strong return to action.
