Vision FC head coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang has admitted that Heart of Lions were worthy winners in their Matchday 28 clash in the Ghana Premier League.

The Kpando-based side returned to winning ways with a convincing 2-0 victory over Vision FC on Sunday, thanks to first-half goals from Kelvin Asenso and Michael Ephson.

The hosts made a bright start and quickly turned their early dominance into a goal, with Asenso breaking the deadlock in the 11th minute. Ephson later capped off a fine team move to double the advantage, sending Heart of Lions into the break with a comfortable two-goal lead.

With no further goals in the second half, the home side saw out the game professionally to secure all three points.

Speaking after the match, Agyemang praised Heart of Lions for their impressive display, acknowledging they deserved maximum points.

“Credit to Heart of Lions for the victory. They played with great determination and showed real commitment from the start. They were well-organised and executed their game plan effectively. In the first half, they were solid defensively and very dangerous in transition. They did a fantastic job and fully deserved to win,” he said.

The victory lifts Heart of Lions to 10th place in the Ghana Premier League standings, while Vision FC drop to 13th with 35 points.
