Salim Adams opens up on motivation behind Medeama’s victory against Gold Stars 

Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams has revealed what inspired the team’s crucial victory against Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.  

The highly-rated midfielder was in action for the Yellow and Mauves on the matchday and bagged a sensational brace that ensured his side secured all three points. 

Speaking in his post-match interview, Adams described the fixture against Gold Stars as a final before a final clash.  

According to him, the team was motivated by their desire to clinch the Ghana Premier League title at the season to go all out for the three points. 

“This was like a final before a final. If we had failed to win this match, all the work we had put in since the start of the season would have gone to waste. So, since last week, I have been telling my teammates to treat every match as a final,” Adams said.  

After overcoming Bibiani Gold Stars, Medeama SC will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Berekum Chelsea.  

A win in that match will boost the team’s chances of lifting the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season.
