Salim Adams rallies Medeama SC teammates to turn attention to Berekum Chelsea fixture after Gold Stars win 

Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams has admonished his teammates to move on from their victory against Gold Stars and focus on their next fixture against Berekum Chelsea.  

Adams was the star for the Yellow and Mauves on Sunday, netting a fantastic brace to lead the team to an important triumph that sets his side apart in the title race. 

Speaking in his post-match interview, the former Hearts of Oak midfielder stressed the importance of the result, but was quick to add that players must not over-celebrate.  

He wants his teammates to immediately turn attention to their next league match against Berekum Chelsea. 

“So, since last week, I have been telling my teammates to treat every match as a final. This game is in the past now. Our next match is against Berekum Chelsea. We need to move on from this and think about that game,” Salim Adams said. 

The upcoming Ghana Premier League Week 32 fixture between Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6. 

A win for Medeama SC will propel the team closer to clinching the league title at the end of the campaign.
