Ghana head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has encouraged top clubs to act swiftly and secure the services of goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan, describing her as a top talent with a bright future.

Konlan has drawn growing interest following her assured performances for the Black Queens, including her display in the friendly defeat to England. Bjorkegren revealed that enquiries have already come from major football markets.

“We heard actually, that no one really has picked her yet. I know that there had been interest from both England and US,” he said. “I mean we are talking about a quality goalkeeper, she is young, she is tall, she is really fast, she really moves quick and she is an amazing girl.”

The Swedish coach believes her potential and professionalism make her an attractive option for any ambitious club.

“I think at least now someone should offer her a good contract,” he added.

Konlan, who currently plays for Samartex Ladies, has been a standout performer during Ghana’s recent international fixtures, helping Black Queens win bronze at the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
