Nsoatreman FC mourn tragic passing of Kotoko supporter after stabbing incident during league match
· GhanaSoccernetNsoatreman Football Club have issued a statement to mourn the passing of the deceased Asante Kotoko supporter, identified as Polley.
The die-hard supporter of the Porcupine Warriors passed away on Sunday after he was stabbed multiple times during the team’s Ghana Premier League clash against Nsoatreman FC.
In a press release from Nsoatreman FC, the club extended its condolences to the family of the deceased supporter and Asante Kotoko as well.
“Nsoatreman Football Club extends its profound condolences to the entire Ghanaian sporting fraternity, particularly, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, and the family of the deceased supporter, who tragically lost his life near Professor AMOAH KOROMANSAH II Stadium during a league game against the Kumasi-based giants this afternoon,” a release from the Nsoatre-based club said.
Meanwhile, Nsoatreman FC have assured that they will cooperate with investigations into the stabbing incident.
“Nsoatreman FC wishes to categorically condemn this act of violence in no uncertain terms….Nsoatreman FC will fully cooperate with the Ghana Police Service and the GA to ensure that the perpetrator of this crime is brought to justice,” the club noted in its release.
