Experienced Ghanaian coach Samuel Boadu is set to join Aduana FC following the expiration of his contract with Berekum Chelsea, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 2021 Ghana Premier League-winning coach with Hearts of Oak is expected to replace Cioba Aristica ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Boadu is expected to join the Ogya team after leaving Berekum Chelsea after their final league game of the season, a 2-1 loss to champions Medeama SC. The club finished 14th on the league table with 42 points from 34 games.

Boadu joined the Blues in January 2025 after a short stint at Raja Casablanca as the club's assistant coach, a position he left in October 2024. He had previously been linked with a return to Hearts of Oak, where he won the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup double in 2021 before being dismissed in October 2022.

Aduana FC, who finished 9th on the league table in the just-ended season, will be hoping Boadu's experience and proven track record can help them challenge for honours.

The Dormaa-based club ended the season with 14 wins, 10 draws, and 10 defeats in 34 matches. Boadu is expected to bring his attacking philosophy and tactical discipline to the club as they prepare for the 2026-27 campaign.

An official announcement from Aduana FC is expected in the coming days. Boadu becomes the second Ghana Premier League-winning coach to join Aduana, following the footsteps of Paa Kwesi Fabian . He will be tasked with revamping the squad and mounting a serious title challenge next season.
