Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has emphasised that his side must brace themselves for a tough run in the remaining matches in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The Yellow and Mauves have opened a five-point gap at the summit of the league table, following an impressive 2-0 victory against Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday.

In his post-match interview, Ibrahim Tanko warned that his side must stay focused in the four remaining matches of the campaign.

He believes all remaining matches will be tough and his side will need to give everything to accumulate enough points to claim the league title at the end of the season.

“The four remaining matches won’t be easy. We are going to prepare very well. We want to win the league, and so definitely we need to keep fighting,” Tanko said.

Up next for Medeama SC, the team from Tarkwa will face Berekum Chelsea in their Week 32 fixture on May 6. Winning that match will push Medeama SC closer to the league title.
