LaLiga: Mourinho demands Khedira’s return to Real Madrid

Former Germany midfielder, Sami Khedira, is set to join José Mourinho’s coaching staff at Real Madrid as an assistant coach.

According to Sky Sports, Mourinho pushed for the move and has already received Khedira’s green light.

Final talks are expected in the coming days, with the deal set to be completed during this month.

Khedira is expected to play a key role both on the training ground and inside the dressing room.

The plan is for the 39-year-old to already be part of Madrid’s coaching staff for the start of pre-season.

Mourinho himself is pencilled in to officially start work on July 1.
