Ballon d’Or 2026: No other player like him – Gonzalez picks award winner

Inter Miami head coach, Kily Gonzalez, has picked captain, Lionel Messi as the player who should win the Ballon d’Or this year.

According to Gonzalez, there is no other player like Messi who deserves to win the Ballon d’Or.

“There is no other like him. I have no doubt that the Ballon d’Or has to go to him,” Gonzalez said (via SPORT).

“With the age he is, the World Cup he did, what he represents for everyone, not only in football, but also in life values. It should be fair for him to take it.”
