FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup: 8 countries eliminated from Round of 16

At least eight teams have been eliminated from the Round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup tournament.

They are Argentina, China, Portugal, the United States, England, Japan, France and Poland.

This follows the conclusion of Thursday’s Round of 16 fixtures.

England lost 3-0 against Nigeria’s Falconets, while France also lost 3-1 against Canada.

Colombia defeated Poland 1-0, and North Korea defeated Japan 2-0.

Argentina had lost 1-0 against South Korea on Wednesday, while China was beaten by Italy.

Portugal lost against Spain, and the United States was beaten by Brazil.
