Transfer: Arsenal ‘in advanced negotiations’ to sign Sesko

Arsenal is now in advanced negotiations with RB Leipzig to sign Benjamin Sesko.

This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, via his X account on Friday.

Romano, however, insisted that no agreement is expected to be reached over the weekend.

He wrote: “Understand Arsenal are now advancing in negotiations for Benjamin Šeško after initial concrete talks reported last week.

“Discussions are underway and proceeding well between all parties involved, players & clubs.

“No agreement yet now or expected this weekend; but advancing.”

Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, is looking to strengthen his attacking options ahead of next season after finishing second again.

However, the 21-year-old will not come cheaply, with Leipzig demanding £92.5m for the Slovenia international.
