NPFL: Abia Warriors poor in win over Bayelsa United – Amapakabo

Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo has admitted that his team was poor despite the 1-0 win over Bayelsa United.

Amapakabo pointed that they didn’t do enough in the attack but commended his players for showing determination in the victory.

Chukwuemeka Obioma scored the winning goal in the game.

“Not a key pressing game, we were poor especially transition in the attack. We didn’t cover a lot of gaps as we leave gaps in behind,” Amapakabo told Abia Warriors Media.

“But we are able to still create good chances,”Our biggest problem still remains conversion of those chances.

“Good one that we were able to get the victory.”

Abia Warriors moved up to fourth position on the league table following the win.
