LaLiga: What Mourinho said about Vinicius after Real Madrid’s win over Rayo Vallecano

Mourinho spoke at his post-match interview following Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
Vinícius provided an assist as Los Blancos defeated the visitors at the Santiago Bernabéu.
His teammates Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and Álvaro Carreras scored the goals for Mourinho’s side.

“Physically, he’s in better shape than ever. He’s just a millimetre short of reaching his top speed, but his ability to sustain effort is immense,” Mourinho said of Vinícius.
“He knows full well that he’s getting there. Right now, it’s a time for assists, for forcing his mind to interpret the game from a defensive perspective, and the goals will come.”
Vinícius has scored just one goal for Real Madrid so far this season. The Brazilian international will hope to get on the scoresheet when his team faces Elche on Tuesday.
