NPFL: El-Kanemi Warriors skipper Musa celebrates win over Bayelsa United

El-Kanemi Warriors captain, Zayyad Musa, has reacted to his team’s narrow away win over Bayelsa United.

Musa expressed delight at the 1-0 victory secured at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa, on Sunday. Sadiq Mohammed scored the decisive goal for El-Kanemi Warriors.

“I thank Almighty Allah for the victory and for an injury-free game,” Musa stated in a chat with the club’s media.

“I said before the game we were going to win, and Alhamdulillah, we achieved that with a lone goal. I wish our fans were here to celebrate with us, but I know they are happy wherever they are. Thank you all for the support.”

The win marked El-Kanemi Warriors’ first away success of the campaign, moving the Borno side to 11th position on the league table with 25 points.
