Manchester United playmaker, Bruno Fernandes, has replaced Cristiano Ronaldo as the captain of the Portugal national team.

Fernandes will lead the team out for their UEFA Nations League clash against Denmark on Thursday evening.

Ronaldo was left furious after head coach Jorge Jesus left him on the bench for the entirety of their 2-1 win over Norway on Sunday.
