2026 Ballon d’Or: Best player in the world – Dembele names player to win award
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostParis Saint-Germain forward, Ousmane Dembele, is backing his team mate, Khivicha Kvaratskhelia to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
Both Dembele and Kvaratskhelia have made the 30-man nominees’ list for this year’s award.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in London on October 26.
Ahead of the event, Dembele has hailed Kvaratskhelia as the best player in the world.

“Kvaratskhelia is the best player in the world, I’d be happy for him to be the Ballon d’Or,” Dembele said.
“In my view, he deserves this.”
PSG won both the LaLiga and Champions League trophies last season.
