Cristiano Ronaldo will be back for last dance with Portugal – Pereira
by Don Silas · Daily PostCristiano Ronaldo will return to the Portugal national team after his unexpected exit a few days ago.
This was disclosed by respected Portuguese journalist, Miguel Pereira.
Recall that Ronaldo abruptly left the Portugal national team a day before their UEFA Nations League encounter with Denmark.
The Al-Nassr forward was reportedly unhappy with Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus after he was not played in the Selecao’s win against Norway.

Speaking on talkSPORT’s Sunday Edition, Pereira claimed that bridges are being built between the Portuguese Football Federation and Ronaldo.
“But right now, I really do think bridges are being built between Cristiano’s camp, Jesus’ camp and the Portuguese federation. The federation is very much interested in having Cristiano because of all the publicity it gets, and I do think that Cristiano will be back for a last dance with the Portuguese side later next year,” Pereira said.
“The thing is that he has 21 goals that he needs to score. He really wanted to score the last one with Portugal, the same way that Pele mounted a show when he scored his 1,000th goal, and I think he was aiming to score that goal at the end of the season in a match with Portugal.”
