CAF Champions League: Rangers players get cash reward for win over Sobemap FC

Rangers have been rewarded with a cash prize of $10,000 for their CAF Champions League victory over Sobemap FC.

The club’s Chairman, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, doled out the cash to the players after their 5-4 penalty shootout win over Sobemap FC.

The gesture is aimed at boosting the players’ morale ahead of the next round of the competition.

The NPFL champions were held to a 1-1 draw by their hosts in the reverse fixture of the first preliminary round at the Stade de Kegue, Lome, on Friday.

The keenly contested encounter ended 2-2 on aggregate.
