UCL Final: PSG receive triple injury boost ahead of Arsenal clash
by Don Silas · Daily PostParis Saint-Germain have been handed a triple injury boost ahead of their Champions League final with Arsenal later this month.
Recall that the French Ligue 1 champions booked their place in the Champions League final after beating Bayern Munich in the semi-final.
Luis Enrique’s men will tackle Arsenal in the Champions League final on May 30 in Budapest.
However, in a statement on PSG’s website on Tuesday, the Parisians confirmed that defender Achraf Hakimi returned to training on Tuesday.
The Morocco international has been sidelined with a thigh injury he sustained in the first leg of the semi-final tie against Bayern Munich a few weeks ago.
PSG also confirmed that Lucas Chevalier and Quentin have resumed individual training, too.
“Achraf Hakimi, Lucas Chevalier and Quentin Ndjantou are training individually outdoors,” PSG’s statement partly read.
