2026 World Cup: ‘There is problem’ – Asamoah Gyan reacts as Colombia eliminate Ghana
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostFormer Ghana striker, Asamaoh Gyan, has bemoaned the national team’s exit from the 2026 World Cup.
The Black Stars lost 1-0 to Colombia in their Round of 32 clash on Saturday morning.
They had opened their tournament with a 1-0 win over Panama, drew 0-0 with England, before losing 2-1 to Croatia.
However, Ghana qualified as one of the best third-place teams.
“The way Ghana played today, I don’t like when you are losing and do not show any urgency,” Gyan said on SuperSport.
“It’s frustrating. Show the world you want to win.
“In my view, we should have kept playing the way we played against England. It worked for us.
“If we keep changing tactics during the tournament, there is a problem.”
