Breaking: Ayden Heaven breaks silence after Manchester United injury and gives recovery update

by · Manchester Evening News

Ayden Heaven has broken his silence on social media after suffering a serious-looking injury while playing for Manchester United against Leicester City on Sunday.

The centre-back appeared to be in some discomfort at the start of the second half. The 18-year-old attempted to intercept the ball at the back post and fell just off the pitch.

Heaven was subsequently stretchered off the pitch and replaced by Toby Collyer. And the teenager has now thanked everyone on social media for their well wishes.

"Thank you guys for all the support! I have read all your messages, and I'm doing really well and recovering fast," he said on his Instagram stories alongside a red love heart emoji and a picture of him being stretched off against Leicester.
