Kevin De Bruyne could come into the Manchester City team against Feyenoord

Man City line-up vs Feyenoord predicted as Kevin De Bruyne call made and Pep Guardiola view clear

Manchester City resume their Champions League campaign tonight as they welcome Feyenoord to the Etihad Stadium.

The Blues have lost five games on the spin in all competitions and have fallen eight points adrift of Liverpool in the Premier League title race. City are 10th in the Champions League table with the top eight going straight through to the last 16.

And with a trip to Liverpool coming on Sunday, City will be desperate to find their form ahead of the game at Anfield. Pep Guardiola remains without several members of his squad through injury but has seen several return to action in the past few weeks.

He spoke in the build-up about not feeling as though he or City need to drastically change their approach so any wholesale changes are highly unlikely.

There is an argument to offer Stefan Ortgea an opportunity but Ederson has been one of City's best performers this season and with a result desperately needed he cannot be left out.

Nathan Ake played the second half against Tottenham and can come in to partner Manuel Akanji with Ruben Dias back in training but unlikely to be risked. John Stones' absence means the options at the back are limited. Kyle Walker has played plenty of minutes in recent weeks despite battling injury so Rico Lewis could revert to right back with Josko Gvardiol on the left.

Ilkay Gundogan has struggled this season but could be pressed into action alongside Bernardo Silva with the returning Kevin De Bruyne completing the midfield three. Phil Foden produced a fine showing against Sporting Lisbon while Jack Grealish can come in to help City gain control. Erling Haaland will continue up front.

Predicted City XI: Ederson, Lewis, Ake, Akanji, Gvardiol; Stones, Bernardo, De Bruyne; Foden, Grealish, Haaland
