BREAKING Derek Chisora set for major Manchester showdown as next fight announcement made
by Josh Holland · Manchester Evening NewsDerek Chisora will return to the ring in the New Year to take on Sweden's Otto Wallin in Manchester. The 40-year-old was scheduled to take on Jarrell Miller in February but a promotional dispute has ruled the American out.
The fight with Wallin was confirmed on Wednesday, November 27. Chisora will turn 41 six weeks before the fight, which will take place at the Co-op Live arena.
"I've had some amazing nights in Manchester, both in the ring and in the warehouse raves, so it was only right I had one last dance up north," Chisora said.

"Come February 8 I'm going to be bringing war to Wallin, be ready for my penultimate showreel knockout." Chisora will take on the Swede in his 49th professional fight, his latest after previously beating Joe Joyce in July.
Wallin has won 27 fights in his career, suffering just two defeats. In his defeat to Tyson Fury in 2019, he inflicted a cut to the Gypsy King before he was stopped by Anthony Joshua last year.
"I know I'm walking into the lion's den, but I will be ready for it and ready to get the victory," he said.
On the same night, light-heavyweights Willy Hutchinson and Zach Parker will contest alongside a bout for the British and Commonwealth junior-welterweight titles between champion Jack Rafferty and Kane Garnder.
