Marcus Rashford tipped to sign for one of five clubs after bombshell Man United interview
by Jack Flintham · Manchester Evening NewsManchester United winger Marcus Rashford has been tipped to sign for one of five clubs upon leaving Old Trafford - including a Premier League rival.
Rashford has had a difficult week at United having first been left out of their squad to face Manchester City. On Tuesday, he spoke with journalist Henry Winter to explain that he would be open for a fresh challenge away from his boyhood club.
Just 48 hours later, Rashford was excluded from the United squad again, this time for the Carabao Cup trip to Tottenham Hotspur. Ruben Amorim has insisted that he would be happy to see the winger stay at the club and that he remains available for selection this weekend when AFC Bournemouth visit the Reds.
Despite the Portuguese head coach's attempts at an olive branch, Rashford's mind appears to have been made up and now speculation is rife as to who he will join. SportsCasting has since employed the services of an AI bot which combines ChatGPT, Gemini and Bing AI, to try and predict which team the forward will join.
The results from the command found that there are five clubs, all in Europe, who should be deemed favourites to sign Rashford. Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Arsenal.
On Wednesday's episode of Stick to Football, brought to you by Sky Bet, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher warned the Gunners off approaching Rashford. "Rashford? No," he responded when Gary Neville asked if he could improve Arsenal.
"Oh my god, he had a four-month spell under Erik ten Hag, when United were on fire. He's been a very good player for United and a very good Premier League player, but he's not [Mohamed] Salah, [Sadio] Mane or [Bukayo] Saka."
A switch abroad could be an option for Rashford should all options in England appear to be off the table. PSG stands out as a clear possibility with the French giants thought to be long-term admirers of the Englishman.
