TNT Goals Show Xtra channel and live stream details - how to watch every Champions League goal

by · Manchester Evening News

The concluding matches of the revamped Champions League group stage are set to take place on Wednesday evening, with all 36 teams participating in a grand finale.

Liverpool stands as the only team to have secured their place in the last 16 so far, thanks to their flawless record of seven victories from as many games. The top eight teams at the end of the final match will be fast-tracked into the round of 16, while those ranked ninth to 24th will enter an additional knockout play-off round scheduled for February.

Arsenal, currently third in the standings with 16 points, is as close to securing a spot in the top eight as mathematically possible. Meanwhile, fellow Premier League side Aston Villa sit just outside automatic qualification in ninth place, and Manchester City are in a precarious 25th position, facing potential elimination from the competition if things remain unchanged.

Liverpool will face PSV in an attempt to preserve their perfect record, while Arsenal travel to Spanish outfit Girona. Villa will host Celtic, and City must secure a victory against Club Brugge.

A thrilling showdown is anticipated in Europe's top-tier competition as powerhouses like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG vie to bypass the play-off round and secure a direct spot in the last 16.

All 18 fixtures of Matchday eight will commence simultaneously, with live coverage available on TNT Sports and discovery+.
