West Ham vs Brighton prediction, odds and betting offer

The Irons is the better side in recent form as they welcome a Brighton side struggling to find momentum with what seems to be a new injury every week

by · The Mirror

West Ham will face Brighton at home, with both teams eager to improve their recent form. Julen Lopetegui is yet to find his footing since taking over at the London Stadium in the summer while Fabian Hurzeler discovered his honeymoon on the south coast is well and truly over at the Albion.

Brighton, after a strong start to the season, have hit a rough patch, failing to win in their last four league games. This slump has seen them drop to ninth place in the standings after they suffered a humbling 3-1 defeat to arch-rivals Crystal Palace - a result no one would have seen coming just a couple of weeks ago.

In contrast, West Ham are on a more positive trajectory, having avoided defeat in their last two matches and will be confident of securing all three points in front of their home fans. However, they still have a long way to go from what fans expected at the start of the season as they sit in the bottom half of the table.

This match presents a vital opportunity for both sides to gain momentum as they strive to climb the Premier League table during the festive period - pivotal to many clubs' seasons.
