Andrew Tate has LOST his boxing debut to Chase DeMoor.

DeMoor walked first despite being the champion and was roundly booed by Tate's home crowd. The challenger received a very different reception and began the fight on top, landing his jab on DeMoor.

And Tate began to target the champion's body in the second session as DeMoor attempted to use his size advantage to bully his challenger. Tate continued to have the upper hand in the third round but a right hand from DeMoor landed flush which gave the champion hope.

Despite glimpses, the American looked out of ideas at the start of the third, as he used his imposing figure to try and wear his fierce foe down. It was evident that both men were starting to tire. Tate looked to be struggling with his fitness heading into the fourth round - no wonder he demanded a six-session contest. The crowd began to grow restless as the two men clinched but there was all to play for with six minutes remaining.

The former Too Hot to Handle star-turned-boxer smelled blood in the water and capitalised on Tate's rather drained energy in the fourth, as he caught the 39-year-old with a stinging right hand. The 'Cobra' was turning into a human punching bag as he absorbed a lot of shots in the fourth without giving anything back.

DeMoor landed an uppercut in the fifth round as he looked to end the fight earlier. Tate hit the canvas but it was ruled a slip as he somehow clung on despite eating another huge right hand from the champion. A gut-wrenching cut quickly emerged over the right eye of Tate, who was fading fast. DeMoor sensed a finish was on the horizon as he backed his foe up against the ropes, unleashing a barrage of uppercuts that had Tate nearly out on his feet.

Somehow, the 39-year-old survived, but had it all to do in the final three minutes of the heavyweight title fight. There was to be no resurgence from Tate who looked spent in the final round as DeMoor hammered home his advantage, and enjoyed a late flurry in the final few seconds, but was unable to stop the fight being left in the judges' hands.

"Yeah.... 10 years out, 40 years old. I gave it my all, but he was tough. I do not know what to say, but he's really, really tough. Congratulations to him. Tate hinted that a boxing return could be on the cards, stating: "I am going to have to go back and watch the fight again... make a decision, but Chase deserves his win. I am really happy for him." He added: "It's better to try and lose than to not try at all."

An ecstatic champion stunned the Dubai crowd after he called for a sensational showdown with Tommy Fury. "Everybody who doubted me. All the haters, all the fans... I love you guys all the same. I am just here to do my best and just keep showing that if you show up, anything is possible," DeMoor began.

"I just fought the toughest man in the world 'Mr Top G' himself and I came out with the victory. That means everything in the world to me. Merry Christmas to everyone and I will see you guys very soon." He added: "Tommy Fury! You beat the CEO... so did I. Bring that a** here."

In the co-main event, UFC legend Tony Ferguson dominated Warren Spencer over five rounds. Ferguson was on top from the opening bell as he marched his opponent down. And a left hand dropped Spencer in the second session. But the underdog fought back in the third round as he attempted to match Ferguson blow for blow. But it was the MMA man who remained on top through rounds four and five - with Spencer losing a tooth for his troubles before Ferguson was given the nod on points.

Dean The Great was beaten for the first time in his career as he dropped a unanimous decision defeat to Amado Vargas who proved he is a level above as he moved to 14-0 as a professional. Earlier, Neeraj Goyat came out on top over Anthony Taylor after the pair had been involved in a vicious war of words during the week.

Taylor had been due to take on Dillon Danis in an MMA fight but the former training partner of Conor McGregor pulled out after he was injured in a brawl at UFC 322 last month. And Taylor slipped to another defeat as Goyat showed his class to come through on points.
