Here is how we expect Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham side to line up against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on Thursday evening

Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham face a huge night of football on Thursday evening when they welcome Manchester United to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The sides will be going head-to-head for a place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Spurs were victorious in the previous round with a 2-1 win over Manchester City following first-half strikes from Timo Werner and Pape Matar Sarr. Defeating the reigning Premier League champions in late October, all connected with Spurs have had to wait some time for their next Carabao Cup tie to come around.

Postecoglou's men should certainly go into the game in confident mood after hitting Southampton for five on Sunday evening. Djed Spence and Lucas Bergvall both excelled in the win on the south coast, duly handing the Spurs boss quite the selection decision for the United game in the process.

One player who should certainly be nice and fresh for the match is Son Heung-min. The Spurs captain, who grabbed a goal and two assists in the win at Southampton, was replaced at the break and given a breather ahead of a another big week for the football club.

Postecoglou once again has a handful of players missing and that limits his choice in certain positions. So who exactly will be in his starting XI on Thursday night? You can find our predicted team for the match below.

Centre-back - Archie Gray

Archie Gray will continue at centre-back for Tottenham due to their current injury list. The youngster fared well there in his recent outings against Rangers and Southampton.
