Arsenal returned to the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon (3pm) - and the Gunners were heavy favourites as they took on Leicester City.

The Foxes came to North London still searching for their first league win of the season under Steve Cooper. For Arsenal, they will look to get back to winning ways and put pressure on title rivals Manchester City at the top of the table - with City dropping points in the lunchtime kick-off against Newcastle.

The Gunners were pegged back by City last weekend, with John Stones' added-time equaliser meaning that they had to settle for a point from the Etihad Stadium. The game ended in a 2-2 draw despite Mikel Arteta's side being down to 10-men for the whole of the second half.

The match against Leicester saw Bukayo Saka provide yet another crucial assist. His corner in stoppage time deflected off Wilfred Ndidi to put Arsenal 3-2 ahead after they had been pegged back from 2-0 in the second half.

That assist, as well as earning his team a late three points has set a new Premier League record, as well. Saka has now overtaken Arsenal legend Thierry Henry to become the only player in Premier League history to register an assist in each of the opening six games of the season.

A goal from Kai Havertz in the 98th minute put the result beyond doubt, in what was a rollercoaster of a game. The result moves Arsenal back to second place in the Premier League table, but on the same points as leaders Manchester City.

Saka will look to extend his record when the Gunners face Southampton at the Emirates Stadium next weekend. City, meanwhile take on Fulham at the Etihad Stadium.
