To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that the hosts could line up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Henderson; Chalobah, Lacroix, Guehi; Kporha, Lerma, Hughes, Mitchell; Sarr, Eze; Mateta.

We predict that Arsenal could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Jesus, Trossard.

Arsenal were the better side in the opening stages in south London, with Bukayo Saka tormenting Tyrick Mitchell in the opening stages. The winger came close 20 minutes in with a curling effort onto the far post from the right-hand side, and 29 minutes in, Saka was involved as the Gunners took the lead.
