Bukayo Saka is continuing his recovery from injury.

Arsenal get major Bukayo Saka injury return hint after Thomas Tuchel England decision

Arsenal have been given a major hint regarding Bukayo Saka's return from injury after Thomas Tuchel announced his first England squad this morning.

Predictably, there was no sign of the Gunners' talisman in the German's 26-man squad for the Three Lions World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia later this month.

Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly and Declan Rice were the only two representatives from Mikel Arteta's squad with Ben White overlooked having not long returned from injury.

Saka has not featured for the Gunners since picking up a hamstring injury in their 5-1 win over Crystal Palace back in December and needed surgery.

The England international has been out of the side ever since but was pictured for the first time back in training with Arsenal during their warm weather training camp in Dubai last month.

Saka remains on course to return for the Gunners after the international break, with Fulham the fixture in mind for his scheduled return on April 1st. Arsenal also take on Everton on April 5th before a blockbuster clash with Real Madrid.

"After the international break, let's see where he is," said Arteta, following Arsenal's draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford. "His progress is really good, he's really willing - as you can imagine - so we are positive that in a few weeks he'll hopefully be back."

It'll be a major boost for the Gunners if he does return ahead of the Champions League Quarter-Final clash with Los Blancos next month with a number of key players returning from injury.

Arteta has been able to welcome back Gabriel Martinelli to the fold in recent games, but he still needs time to get up to full speed after picking up a hamstring injury in the defeat to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
