Arsenal are undefeated in all competitions this season and Mikel Arteta will want to keep the momentum going with a win against Leicester City this weekend.

The Gunners welcome Steve Cooper's side to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon knowing a win will put them on 14 points, which could even be enough to go top of the table, should other results go their way. While the north Londoners have had a decent start to the campaign, the Foxes are yet to win after five games although they have drawn three.

While Leicester will be keen to come away with some unlikely points, Alan Shearer is predicting a home win. The former Premier League striker told Betfair: "I can’t see Arsenal being as defensive in this one as they were for the second half at the Etihad! It'd be a huge surprise if Leicester took a point back.

"I can't see it happening with the form that Arsenal are in and the confidence and belief they'll take from last week's result. I won't go with anything crazy, I just see a convincing home win."

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson agrees with Shearer and is also predicting a comfortable win for Arteta's side. In his weekly Sportskeeda column, Merson said: "I'm backing Arsenal to get a comfortable win here against Leicester. Some Leicester fans wanted to come to the top flight and be in the top half of the table, that just makes me laugh. They're in big trouble and so is Steve Cooper.

"From now until the end of the season, Arsenal should not let in more than one goal in any football match, that should be their aim. They're always going to score goals, that's not an issue. If they keep it tight at the back, they have a chance of winning something.

"I still don't believe Arsenal are favourites for the title now after the injury to Rodri. You look at the substitutes that Manchester City have, and look at the size of that squad compared to Arsenal, who were bringing on Gabriel Jesus, who City actually let go, there is certainly a difference.

"If Arsenal had to take one player out of the City team to help them win the title, that would be Rodri - no doubt! So he's definitely a big miss, but City may still have enough in them to go all the way. Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Leicester City."
