Arsenal's next five fixtures compared to Liverpool after Premier League title twist vs Chelsea

by · football.london

Mikel Merino's first half strike was enough to see Arsenal claim a 1-0 win over Chelsea in the London derby at the Emirates Stadium.

The result sees the Gunners extend their lead to four points from Nottingham Forest. Nuno Espirito Santo's side came away 4-2 winners at Ipswich Town.

Title rivals Liverpool, meanwhile, are not in Premier League action this weekend as they will look to lift their first silverware of the season - facing Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley meaning Arsenal have made ground on the Reds. The Gunners, who had a game in hand over them, are now 12 points from Arne Slot's side with nine games left of the season.
