As the summer transfer window quickly approaches Arsenal have been linked with a move for some big names, with the latest reports suggesting they could be ready to splash the cash for Paris Saint Germain winger Ousmane Dembele.

Arsenal's attacking injuries have been a huge setback this season, with Arteta needing more depth going forward if they want to put together a league winning run.

The Frenchman initially made a name for himself at Borussia Dortmund where he was widely considered to be one of the hottest prospects in world football.

Unsurprisingly some European giants soon came sniffing with Dembele choosing a move to Barcelona for an eye-watering €135 million.

Although his time in Catalonia was not entirely unsuccessful, it was still thought that the winger, once touted as a future Ballon D'or winner, hadn't lived up to expectation and in 2023 he moved back to France to join PSG for €50 million.

His move to Paris was exactly what the doctor ordered as the now 27 year old has enjoyed a solid season in the French capital, showcasing his blistering pace, technical dribbling and pin-point passing that was seen in Dortmund.

But now the latest rumours have suggested he could be on the move again, this time to London as Mikel Arteta wants to inject some new flair into the Arsenal attack.

According to Caught Offside, the prospect of Dembele joining Arsenal could be a dream scenario for the Gunners, with the Champions League semi-final an opportunity to scout what their money could buy.

The winger has undoubtedly picked up form with his solid performance against Liverpool in the Champions League also showing promise of how he could take on tricky English sides.

Speaking on TNT sports after that game, Joe Cole was left particulalry impressed, he said: "In Dembele, they’ve got probably the most in-form player, let alone winger, in European football. And when he’s on form, with his attributes, he’s unstoppable.”

Unsurprisingly with a talent of Dembele's calibre Arsenal will face competition, with Liverpool and Manchester United also rumoured to be interested in making a deal in the summer.
