Arsenal are back in Premier League action this weekend as they look to keep the early pressure on Manchester City at the top of the table.

The Gunners welcome newly-promoted Leicester City to the Emirates Stadium with Arsenal favourites to take all three points from the game. The Foxes are searching for their first Premier League win under new manager Steve Cooper and they only just scraped past Walsall on penalties in their midweek Carabao Cup clash on Tuesday.

Arsenal, meanwhile, had an easier passage, coming out as 5-1 winners over League One side Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday night. Mikel Arteta made a few changes for the game, giving some of the club’s youngsters a chance to shine.

If they have done enough to earn themselves a place in the team or the squad for the clash against Leicester, that is still to be seen.

Going into the match, Arsenal sit in fourth place in the league, but are just two points behind leaders Man City. Pep Guardiola’s side take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park in the early kick-off.

That means Arsenal will know how City have got on before a ball is kicked against Leicester, which could add more interest to the game. Here is everything you need to know about following the encounter.
