Chelsea's next five fixtures compared to Premier League title race challengers

Between now and the next international break in November, Chelsea have some potentially season-defining difficult fixtures

Enzo Maresca will be eager to extend his unbeaten streak when Chelsea return to action this weekend. Liverpool will welcome the Blues to Anfield on Sunday afternoon as the Premier League title race builds a head of steam.

Chelsea, who haven't tasted defeat in the English top-flight since losing to Manchester City on the opening weekend, head into the tie following a draw with Nottingham Forest. Meanwhile, Liverpool, who will be looking to defend top spot, enjoyed a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.

With some difficult games on the horizon, the west Londoners will be keen to prove their title credentials. So, that being said, football.london has looked at Chelsea's upcoming fixtures and how they compare to their rivals.

Liverpool (A) – Premier League – Sunday, October 20

Anfield was a fortress under Jurgen Klopp. But, under Arne Slot, Nottingham Forest have already defeated the Reds in their own back yard – and Chelsea will be hoping to do the same.
