Foden, Akanji, Doku - Latest Man City injury news in Arsenal and Liverpool title battle
by Kieran Horn · football.londonThere is perhaps only one Premier League club that have been plagued by more injury concerns than Arsenal and that is title rivals Manchester City. The reigning champions have lost their last four games in all competitions with key absences mounting for Pep Guardiola.
A number of stars, including Phil Foden and Nathan Ake, have remained in Manchester over the international break with Guardiola hoping to get a number of boosts for the Tottenham clash this Saturday alongside the end of his side's winless run.
Despite their form, Man City remain four points above Arsenal in the Premier League table, though Liverpool have been able to open up a significant gap. 27 games are still left to play for all teams though and thus the title race is far from over.
Injuries will certainly play a role in deciding the outcome with City now the team suffering significantly as those fitness worries have now stretched into the double-figures. With that being said, football.london has rounded up the latest updates on a number of key stars as doubts to feature at Etihad Stadium this weekend and beyond.
