Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 Draws Nearly 6 Million Global Viewers on Netflix

by · Variety

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano‘s highly-anticipated third boxing match drew an average minute audience (AMA) of approximately 6 million viewers on Friday night.

That is according to data from Netflix and VideoAmp and includes those who watched the night of the fight and one day of playback. Approximately 4.2 million of those viewers came from the U.S. The fight card reached number one on Netflix in the US, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, and made the Top 10 in 43 countries.

It must be noted, however, that Taylor and Serrano’s spectacular second fight on the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul card back in November averaged an estimated 74 million live viewers globally and became the most-watched professional women’s sports event in US history with 47 million AMA in the US.

Still, the 6 million figure for the third fight still makes it one of the most-watched women’s sporting events of 2025. It came in just behind this year’s NCAA Women’s March Madness final, which averaged 8.5 million viewers earlier this year.

Taylor ultimately won the fight by majority decision, making her 3-0 against Serrano. Elsewhere on the fight card: Alycia Baumgardner retained her undisputed super featherweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Jennifer Miranda; Shadasia Green won a split decision over Savannah Marshall to become the unified super middleweight champion earning a $250,000 Performance of the Night bonus; and Ellie Scotney defeated Yamileth Mercado by unanimous decision to win the WBC super-bantamweight world title and retain her Ring, IBF and WBO titles.

The event drew 19,721 people at Madison Square Garden and generated a gate of $2.63 million. That is the highest gate ever for a women’s boxing card and the highest gate for a female sporting event in MSG history.

The Taylor-Serrano 3 live event was produced by Most Valuable Promotions and EverWonder.
