Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are gearing up for their second face-off in the ring across 2024 this evening (December 21).

Usyk claimed the title of undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in May, following a split-decision victory over the 'Gypsy King'. The win marked Fury's first professional loss, with Usyk besting the Englishman over the course of the full 12 rounds.

Despite relinquishing his IBF belt to allow for a rematch with Fury, there's more than just championship glory at stake tonight (December 21) at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia. With his record now standing at 34-1-1, Fury is eager to settle the score with Usyk, who remains undefeated at 22-0.

While the spotlight will undoubtedly be on Fury's headline fight with Usyk, there are several other bouts leading up to the main event that are worth paying attention to. Among them is a light middleweight match between Usyk's fellow countryman Serhii Bohachuk (24-2) and Ishmael Davis (13-1) – both of whom are looking to bounce back from recent losses to Vergil Ortiz Jr and Josh Kelly respectively.

Moses Itauma, who remains undefeated, is meanwhile set to maintain his perfect record as he faces the 22-1 former mixed martial artist come boxer Demsey McKean, in a bout that's third from the top of the card. In a last-minute update to the line-up, Peter McGrail has been confirmed to step into the ring against Rhys Edwards in the super featherweight category.

Edwards, boasting a 16-0 record, was originally scheduled to clash with Dennis McCann at the Kingdom Arena. However, an "adverse finding" in a pre-fight anti-doping test forced McCann to withdraw from the event earlier this week. The 23-year-old, with a record of 16-0-1, will now be replaced by the 10-1 McGrail, who is eager to make his mark on the global stage.
