Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk full results and scorecard, Moses Itauma statement, Johnny Fisher controversy

Oleksandr Usyk further cemented himself in boxing history after a unanimous victory win over Tyson Fury in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Ukrainian ensured that the Gypsy King would not avenge his May defeat, when Usyk handed Fury the first blemish on his impervious professional boxing career. The Englishman made a strong start to the fight as he looked to set the tone putting the unbeaten champion on the backfoot.

Fury kept the pace but Usyk soon found his groove and moved to take ahold of the heavyweight bout. The 37-year-old, as he did in their original bout, grew into the fight as the rounds progressed and he eventually took it out of Fury's reach.

In the penultimate fight before the main event, Moses Itauma sent a message to the rest of the heavyweight division after the 19-year-old stopped Demsey McKean after a minute-and-a-half. The Englishman's overhand right landed flush sending the Australian to the canvas for the second time in quick succession.

Meanwhile there were boos when Johnny Fisher was crowned the WBA Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion after beating David Allen via a split decision. Fisher was knocked down to the canvas by the veteran Allen midway through the bout and as the final bell rang, White Rhino slumped to the canvas and felt he had won the fight until the judges went in favour of the Romford Bull by a split decision.

Peter McGrail continued his comeback, following his shock defeat to Ja'Rico O'Quinn last December, beating Wales' Rhys Edwards by unanimous decision. The 24-year-old Welshman relinquished his unbeaten record but leaves Riyadh with heaps of credit after stepping foot in the ring with the 28-year-old on five days notice, after Dennis McCann returned a positive drug test.
