Alexander Isak’s future is shaping up to be a thrilling three-way battle between Arsenal, Liverpool, and his current club, Newcastle United, who have reportedly offered him fresh terms.
Isak has been in exceptional form this season, scoring 23 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions, including a crucial goal in the Carabao Cup final.
His impressive performances have caught the eye of top Premier League clubs, with both Arsenal and Liverpool now prioritising him as a key transfer target.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is particularly “obsessed” with the striker, and both clubs have been made aware that a significant financial commitment could secure his services.
However, Newcastle are determined to keep their star man and are ready to offer Isak a new contract to make sure he stays, reports TBR Football.
This deal is expected to be substantial enough to disrupt the current wage structure at St. James’ Park, with reports suggesting that it could surpass the current top earner, Bruno Guimaraes, whose weekly salary is around €200,000.
Alexander Isak’s current terms at Newcastle United
Isak’s current contract, signed in 2022 when he arrived for a club-record €70 million from Real Sociedad, runs until 2027. He is currently earning over €150,000 per week, but Newcastle are prepared to increase this figure in a bid to keep him at the club.
For the Magpies to remain competitive in this race, qualifying for the Champions League is essential. With England securing five spots in the 2025/26 season, securing a top-five finish is now a critical goal for Eddie Howe’s side.
Currently, Newcastle sit in sixth place, just one point behind Manchester City and Chelsea, while Arsenal and Liverpool occupy the top two spots, with Liverpool looking likely to secure the title.
