Europa League round of 16 draw: Man Utd to face Real Sociedad, Tottenham take on AZ Alkmaar

Manchester United and Tottenham now know their opponents for the last 16 of the Europa League after the knockout stage draw.

Manchester United placed third in the league phase while Tottenham Hotspur placed fourth. United will play against Real Sociedad and Tottenham will take on AZ Alkmaar. Jose Mourinho will go back to the UK as coach of Fenerbahce to face Rangers.

The first legs of the last-16 ties will take place on March 6, with the return fixtures being held a week after. This year’s final will take place at Bilbao’s San Mames on May 21 in Spain.
