Washington Huskies women release schedule for 2026-27

Tina Langley and the Washington women’s basketball team loaded its 2026-27 nonconference schedule with a few familiar opponents before the Huskies barrel into a Big Ten slate stuffed with 11 teams that made the NCAA tournament last season.

The Huskies open against UC San Diego on Nov. 2, which is the first of three consecutive games at Alaska Airlines Arena, including Pacific on Nov. 5 and Cal State Bakersfield on Nov. 12.

Following a two-year hiatus, UW travels to Pullman and resumes its cross-state rivalry with Washington State on Nov. 17.

The Huskies return to face former Pac-12 foe Stanford on Nov. 20, which begins a seven-game homestand that includes Cal Poly on Nov. 22 and an early Big Ten opener against USC on Dec. 5.

Washington concludes its nonconference games versus Southern (Dec. 10), Northern Colorado (Dec. 12), Santa Clara (Dec. 17) and Portland State (Dec. 20).

During their 18-game Big Ten schedule, the Huskies will play one game against every conference team and will face Oregon twice.

In addition to USC, Washington will host Wisconsin (Jan. 2), Maryland (Jan. 14), Purdue (Jan. 17), Iowa (Jan. 27), Indiana (Feb. 7), Rutgers (Feb. 17), Oregon (Feb. 25) and defending national champion UCLA (Feb. 28) in the regular-season finale.

The Huskies will face nine Big Ten opponents on the road, beginning with Nebraska on Dec. 29. Washington also travels to Illinois (Jan. 7), Northwestern (Jan. 10), Michigan State (Jan. 20), Michigan (Jan. 23), Oregon (Feb. 4), Ohio State (Feb. 10), Penn State (Feb. 13) and Minnesota (Feb. 20).

For the first time, the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 3-7.

Times and TV information for UW’s schedule will be announced at a later date.

Washington returns standouts Sayvia Sellers, Avery Howell and Brynn McGaughy from a team that was eighth in the Big Ten at 10-8 and 22-11 overall while advancing to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
