EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. >> President Donald Trump paid homage to soccer great Pele after being met with boos and cheers from the crowd at the Club World Cup final on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Trump was spotted among the Chelsea players as they lifted the new trophy, pictured alongside captain Reece James after the Blues had stunned Paris Saint-Germain with a 3-0 win in the final.

The French side, who had a player sent off, were heavy favourites to win the final in New Jersey but were 3-0 down before half-time.
