FIFA president Gianni Infantino has apologised over remarks he made about British fans and defended the decision to award a peace prize to United States president Donald Trump.

Russia's national side and club teams have been banned from both FIFA and UEFA competitions at all levels since its invasion of Ukraine in 2022, but Infantino is open to the ban being lifted.
