Captain Shreyas Iyer admitted India face a tough call over their opening combination for the first T20I against Afghanistan, with Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi competing for two spots.

Ajinkya Rahane has urged India to retain Sanju Samson in the top three for the Afghanistan T20Is. He said Vaibhav Sooryavanshi should be given time to grow without being rushed.
