Wriddhiman Saha retires from cricket after Bengal's Ranji Trophy win, ending a successful career spanning 17 years.

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha retired from all forms of cricket after playing the last round of the Ranji Trophy group-stage. The Bengal keeper penned an emotional note and shared it via his social media channels.

Wriddhiman Saha has bid goodbye to all forms of cricket in his final Ranji Trophy match against Punjab.

Earlier on Friday, Saha also received a guard of honour from his teammates as he went down on the crease to bat for the last time. Taking to X, Saha recalled the first time he stepped onto a cricket field in 1997. He added that it was an honour for him to represent his country, state, district, clubs, university, college, and school.
